Imran Haque, an internal medicine Doctor with a distinction

‘Bend low with humility but not so low that people walk over you,’ seems to be the slogan that describes the life of Imran Haque, a North Carolina-based medical practitioner. Specializing in internal medicine, Dr. Haque is a fully-trained and licensed medical doctor with an M.D from the University of Virginia. He also holds a medical degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) based in Santo Domingo. With an experience spanning over 15 years, Dr. Imran Haque has served at a hospital-run Horizon Internal Medicine where he says his passion for excellent bedside manner began, stirred by the positive feedback he received from satisfied clients.

Asked what he does to bring ideas to life, Dr.Imran Haque opines that actualizing any good idea calls for not only through research, hard work, and diligence but also the monetary investment. He further adds that the personal attributes of being orderly and long-suffering are as essential as professional networking.

When asked to identify a modern trend in his profession that he is happy about, Dr. Haque quickly points out that the integration of technology into healthcare has improved service delivery and efficiency. By employing electronic Information and Communication Technology, explains Dr. Imran, healthcare providers have not only been able to discharge coordinated services, but also become more accessible to people who need it more.

Speaking of his effective working habits, Dr. Imran Haque says that multitasking has become as much of a necessity to his day-to-day working as breathing is to a person. Because he has mastered the skill over the years, Dr. Imran says his productivity has increased tremendously over the years.

Talking about the advice, he would give to young professionals. He says it is that they should not trust too quickly, to exercise caution because the world is full of trickery. As for advice to other entrepreneurs about what works uniquely for him, Dr. Imran says he has learned over the years that the kindness and high regard he accords his clients have yielded a high level of success for him and he would recommend it to any entrepreneur. He further adds that if one treats clients as he wished to, their people skills would tremendously improve.
